Generic Name: Yimu Shenghua San
Chinese Pinyin: Yimu Shenghua San

【Main Ingredients】Motherwort (Leonurus japonicus), Chinese Angelica (Angelica sinensis), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum chuanxiong), Peach Kernel (Prunus persica), Baked Ginger (Zingiber officinale), etc.

【Characteristics】This product is a yellowish-green to yellowish-brown powder with a light aromatic odor and a sweet, slightly bitter taste.
【Functions】Promotes blood circulation, resolves stasis, warms the meridians, and alleviates pain.
【Indications】Postpartum lochiorrhea (retention of lochia) and abdominal pain due to blood stasis.

• Retention of Lochia: Symptoms include lethargy, reduced appetite, rough coat, elevated body temperature, flushed oral mucosa, cyanotic conjunctiva, restlessness, arched back with straining, and discharge of foul-smelling, pus-like lochia mixed with stringy or lumpy necrotic tissue.

• Abdominal Pain due to Blood Stasis: Symptoms include abdominal pain, squatting or pawing the ground, looking back at the abdomen, frequent rising and lying down, reduced appetite; sometimes dark purple blood clots are discharged from the vagina; bluish oral mucosa, deep and tense or deep and uneven pulse. If accompanied by qi and blood deficiency, additional signs may include fatigue, pale red tongue, and weak pulse.

【Usage and Dosage】Horses and cattle: 250–350g; sheep and pigs: 30–60g.
【Adverse Reactions】No adverse reactions have been observed when used at the recommended dosage.
