【Drug Name】 Generic Name: Baitouweng San Chinese Pinyin: Baitouweng San 【Main Ingredients】Pulsatilla root (Pulsatilla chinensis), Coptis (Coptis chinensis), Phellodendron bark (Phellodendron amurense), Fraxinus bark (Fraxinus rhynchophylla). 【Characteristics】 This product is a light grayish-yellow powder with an aromatic odor and bitter taste. 【Functions】 Clears heat and toxins, cools blood, and stops dysentery. 【Indications】 Damp-heat diarrhea, dysentery with bloody pus. Symptoms include depression, elevated body temperature, loss of appetite or anorexia, excessive thirst, occasional mild abdominal pain, significantly increased defecation frequency, tenesmus, fecal urgency, loose stools mixed with bloody pus and mucus, foul or extremely offensive odor, scanty dark urine, red oral mucosa, thick yellow tongue coating, halitosis, and deep rapid pulse. 【Usage and Dosage】 Horses and cattle: 150–250g; Sheep and pigs: 30–45g; Rabbits and poultry: 2–3g. 【Adverse Reactions】 No adverse reactions have been observed when used at the recommended dosage. 【Precautions】 Contraindicated in animals with spleen-stomach deficiency-cold. 【Storage】 Keep tightly closed in a dry place.
